PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project 658-18-103 Upgrade Elevators The Department of Veterans Affairs, Salem, Virginia has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials and supervision necessary to completely an upgrade renovation for patient and service elevators throughout the Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC) of the existing elevators structure, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for 658-18-103 Upgrade Elevators project as required by accompanying drawings and specifications/documents. This project outlines both the demolition and new work to includes: The elevators to be upgraded are services elevators: 1, 2, 3, and 4 in Building 143; patient elevators: 1, 2, and 3 in Building 143; cart lift elevators: 1 and 2 in Building 143. The elevator in Building 1, the freight elevator in Building 4, the elevator in Building 5, the elevator in Building 10, the elevator in Building 11, and the elevator in Building 76. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. NAICS CODE: 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors Size Standard: $16.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about January 11, 2021. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposal will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation.
