Site work for a civil project in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Faro mine remediation project. TIMELINE: Request for Proposal for main construction management and care and maintenance services is closed; preferred proponent was selected. The Main Construction and Care & Maintenance Manager (MCM-C&M) services will include, but are not limited to, the following: administration services, advisory services, construction management and site management services, and care and maintenance services. The initial contract is anticipated to be issued for a two (2) year period covering Term 1 services only, with the option to add potential major work packages. There is also an option to extend Term 1 by an additional two (2) year period, and the option to commence contract entry into Term 2 of the project. Term 1 and 2 could extend to a period of 20 years or more. It is anticipated that the majority of the scope of work is to be completed by sub-contractors. The total construction value is expected to include construction-related expenses associated with those sub-contracts, and is estimated at $1.5 billion for the duration of the project, inclusive of Term 1, Term 1 Option Period, Term 2 and Term 2 Option Period. Sub-trade contract work will be issued separately as contracts proceed through to tender and construction, no firm timelines are determined at this time.
