Renovation of an educational facility in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Fitchburg State University, the Awarding Authority, invites bids from Contractors for (Hammond Building Curtain Wall Window Replacement). The work is estimated to cost $62,000. FSU reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any bids if it is in the public interest to do so. The scope of the Base Bid work, without limiting the generality thereof, shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision to: remove metal trim systems, remove damaged glass and dispose of properly, replace defective mechanical systems, replace all caulking, sealant, neoprene blocks and waterproofing systems as needed, replace glass panels, and reinstall trim, including small areas of loose trim repair adjacent to replaced panels. Add Alternates 1-8 work includes replacement of additional glass panels.
