As of March 27, 2024, this project has been completed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The major items of work include reconstruction of 4th Street SE from Auburn Way South to L St SE including site preparation and demolition, constructing new pavement surfacing, sidewalks, curb and gutter, curb walls, stormwater conveyance, water main, sanitary sewer main, franchise utility coordination, private property restoration, landscaping restoration, permanent signing, and traffic control and staging, and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The proposed bid range for the project is from $4,300,000 to $4,700,000. The entire project, including cleanup, shall be physically completed within 160 working days. Project is funded by City of Auburn Capital Improvement Funds and Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) funding sources. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or proposal bond (surety bond) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond within the time stated in the Bid Documents, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Auburn. Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond.
