The City of Auburn is soliciting Proposals from qualified companies to provide maintenance services for the regular replacement of Contech Storm Filter cartridges and the associated clean out and upkeep of the vaults and manholes containing the filters. The program contract term is anticipated to be up to a 5-year service agreement, renewed each year to maintain the filter vaults and manholes. This program will maintain the 14 manholes and vaults that hold varying amounts of Contech Storm Filters, with a current total of 97 filters. Additional manholes or vaults may be added to the program over the 5-year service period. Select locations will be assigned by the City each year for maintenance that will include: o Cleaning and clearing around vault lid/entrance; o Removing and disposal of cartridge filters; o Remove accumulated sediment within vault or manhole and disposal; o Inspecting manifold rack and internal components of the vault or manhole; o Retrofit manifold adapters to new filter standards as needed; and o Install new Storm Filters per Contech maintenance standards. TERMS AND CONDITIONS The City of Auburn reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals and to waive irregularities and informalities in the submittal and evaluation process. This solicitation for Consultant Services does not obligate the City of Auburn to pay any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation and submission of a Proposal. This solicitation does not obligate the City of Auburn to accept or contract for any expressed or implied services. Furthermore, the City of Auburn reserves the right to award the contract to the next most qualified Consultant if the selected Consultant does not execute a contract within thirty 30 days after the award of the proposal.
