**As of 5/11/2021 Awarding date will be 6/7/2021. The Project consists of replacing culverts at two locations. One culvert/location is an approximate 16' wide open bottom culvert beneath a railroad and the other culvert/location is to replace an approximate 16' wide open bottom culvert beneath a gravel road and includes removal of existing structures, temporary stream diversion, and installation of culvert footings. Questions regarding the bid package are due by Thursday, January 14th, at 4:30 p.m. The deadline for submission of equivalent culvert structures for approval is 4:30 p.m. local time on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6th. Approved culvert structure alternatives will be shared via a separate addendum that will be posted via Quest CDN by 4:30 p.m. local time on FRIDAY, JANUARY 8th, 2021 Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds and Prevailing Wages apply to this Project. In addition, the provisions of Minn. Stat. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor also apply - all bidders submitting a Bid Shall comply with the provisions of the statute. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract and shall be on a Unit Price basis. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of (45) days after bid opening without written consent of the Funding Agency. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder providing evidence of any required pre-qualifications, within 45 days after the bids are received and verified or until state and federal permits are obtained.
