Quotations will only be accepted General Contractors who have been prequalified as per the Board's Request for Supplier Qualifications #12-17 General Contractors. The prequalified General Contractors are required to carry Board's approved prequalified Roofing Contractors and Mechanical Contractors as subcontractors for the project. This Request for Quotations (the RFQ) is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the Board) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Window & Door Replacement & Roof I Modifications and Boiler & Controls Upgrade (Phase 1) at Ernestown Secondary School. RFQ 21-6A Window & Door Replacement & Roof I Modifications: The scope of work for the project includes the full replacement of all south-facing windows in the two-storey portion of the east wing, the replacement of the inner and outer main entrance screens and the outer east and west entrance screens, as well as spandrel panel replacement in all of the north-facing windows in the two-storey portion of the east wing and roof repairs to Roof Area I as they relate to interior mechanical improvements. The work also includes painting of the exterior concrete elements in the vicinity of the subject window replacement, replacement of interior windowsills, the replacement of louvers and all associated work. RFQ 21-6B Boiler & Controls Upgrade (Phase 1): The scope of work for the project includes the removal of the existing hydronic boilers, piping and pumps as specified. The installation of a new boilers, pumps and controls to the new boiler plant, new pumps, existing air handler and exhaust fans.
