Renovation of a municipal facility in Dracut, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,800-square-foot municipal facility.

**As of January 22, 2021, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for the award is not yet determined.** Remove and replace existing roof at Harmony Hall. Including main building, North and South, rear entrance roof, Cupola roof (after removal of the weathervane) and small lower roof at back/right side, side entrance roof over hallway, (excluding front entrance roof) at 1600 Lakeview Ave, Dracut, MA. The roof consists of approximately 5800 square feet. The existing roof was replaced in 1994. Roof over main entrance is a metal roof and does not need to be replaced. Supply and set tarps to protect siding and grounds. Remove roofing down to roof boards (2 layers). Prepare roof, including protruding nails. Re-nail existing sheathing as needed. Apply 6' G.A.F. Storm guard (or approved equal) ice and water shield along lower edges of roof(s) and in all valley's and at all roof/wall junctions. Apply G.A.F. (or approved equal) synthetic underlayment to remainder of roof area. Replace all applicable pipe flanges. Apply lifetime warranty G.A.F. Timberline HD Architectural (or approved equal) shingles to entire roof area (Color to be picked by Town). Cut roof ridge open and install continuous G.A.F. Snow Country (or approved equal) ridge vent across all roof peaks. Clean up and dispose of all roofing debris. Remove weather vane from cupola and reinstall after once repairs are made. (Repairs are not the contractors responsibility) This will require a crane that will be needed on two separate dates. Contractor responsible for Crane and operation of the crane. Contractor must carry all licenses that are required. Contractor responsible for permits and must comply with any local, state and federal laws. Contractors are required to use the enclosed form for quotation. Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 sec.44A(2)(A) and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. Questions or requests for an appointment to see the work site should be directed to Barbara O'Connor at 978-770-2584. Awarded contractor will be required to furnish a 50% payment bond if contract exceeds $25,000.00. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all quotes, to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities. Conditional quotes will not be accepted. Quotes that are incomplete, not properly endorsed, or signed, will be rejected. Work must be completed by April 15, 2021
