Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Dracut, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Dracut Public Schools, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from qualified contractors pursuant to M.G.L. c 30, 39M for furnishing ASPHALT PARKING LOT PAVING AND PARKING LOT STRIPING. All bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid deposit of the bid price, taking into account alternates. The Dracut Public Schools reserves the right to amend or cancel this IFB, accept or reject any and all bids, and waive minor informalities. Project Description: This project is located in Dracut, Massachusetts. 1. Protection of existing pavement and utilities outside the limit of work, and associated facilities as indicated. 2. Site work: Preparation of Subbase as outlined herein, installation of new paved surfaces including all parking lot striping. Top dress all disturbed areas with loam and seed. 4. All work eithershown on the Drawings or included in the specifications unlessspecifically indicated as not to be done. 5. Coordinate all construction activity, trades, schedules, deliveries, staging areas and subcontactors to minimize impact to the Owner. B. In addition, the work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities.
