Town of Windfall, Indiana, by and through its Council referred to as the Owner will receive bids for project Town of Windfall CCMG 2020 Resurfacing Design. Pearl Street: From Maple St to Walnut St, mill butt joints, sweep clean, tack coat, and pave with 2.0 inches of Hot Mix Asphalt surface. Replace HMA approaches, 3' wide as needed. Adjust manholes, inlets, and water valves if needed. Maple Street: From Independence St to Pearl St, mill butt joints, sweep clean, tack coat, and pave with 2.0 inches of Hot Mix Asphalt surface. Replace HMA approaches, 3' wide as needed. Adjust manholes, inlets, and water valves if needed. Posey St Street: From Canal St to Sherman St, and from Race St to Delaware St, mill butt joints, sweep clean, tack coat, and pave with 2.0 inches of Hot Mix Asphalt surface. Replace HMA approaches, 3' wide as needed. Replace storm inlets and adjust manholes, inlets, and water valves if needed. Wall Street: From Posey St to Oak St, mill butt joints, sweep clean, tack coat, and pave with 2.0 inches of Hot Mix Asphalt surface. Replace HMA approaches, 3' wide as needed. Replace storm inlets and adjust manholes, inlets, and water valves if needed. Main Street: From Independence St to Park St, mill butt joints, sweep clean, tack coat, and pave with 2.0 inches of Hot Mix Asphalt surface. Replace HMA approaches, 2'-3' wide as needed. Adjust manholes, inlets, and water valves if needed. College Street: From Sherman St to McClellan St, mill butt joints, sweep clean, tack coat, and pave with 2.0 inches of Hot Mix Asphalt surface. Replace 50 feet of concrete sidewalk, 4" and 70'x12' concrete patch, 9". Replace HMA approaches, 3' wide as needed. Replace storm inlets and adjust manholes, inlets, and water valves if needed. Bids shall be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any informalities in bidding. Any proposal received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond (on the form attached) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions. Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting all streets and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents and Specifications. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation with respect to its Bid. The Town of Windfall reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to complete the work contemplated therein, or to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Town of Windfall.
