The Work consists of rehabilitation of approximately 72 existing LBWD sewer segments using a variety of methodologies, including full pipe CIPP liner, sectional CIPP liners, point repair pipe replacement, root ball removal, and top hat installation. Work also includes pre-construction and post-construction CCTV inspection, traffic control setup, sewer bypassing, and surface restoration. The Work Site is located in multiple locations within the City of Long Beach, California. at the following general locations, in order of percentage of total project segments: Location 1 (84% of project sewers): Located in the residential neighborhood contained within the boundary streets of Spring St., Clark Ave., Wardlow Rd., and Charlemagne Ave. Location 2 (8%): Located in the residential neighborhood contained within the boundary streets of 64th St., Walnut Ave., 65th St., and Cherry Ave. The remaining 8% of project sewers are located in independent locations from each other. Locations are shown in index maps on project plans. The Work must be completed within one hundred sixtyfive (165) calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must scan and upload with their bid documents a certified check or bank draft payable to the Long Beach Water Department, drawn on a solvent bank in the United States of America, or a satisfactory bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the Bid. The original of the above instrument shall be submitted to the Long Beach Water Department in a sealed envelope and must be received and time/date stamped by the Long Beach Water Department no later than the time and date stated for receipt of bids. The outside of this envelope shall clearly state "Bid Security for WD-06-22, Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement Program Project 10 (SSRRP-10). DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL."
