Primary A-E services expected to be performed under this contract are preparation of Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction contract packages. These include preparation of full plans and specifications, site surveys and investigations (i.e. geotechnical, utilities, topographical/surveying, etc.), cost estimating, and post construction award services (PCAS). Additionally, preparation of Request for Proposals (RFP) packages for Design-Build (DB) projects, preparation of planning and programming support documents, and miscellaneous studies related to the designs of new facilities may be required.Support A-E services may be required to perform technical reviews of government-prepared designs and design-build packages, preparation of planning and programming support documents, coordination of various technical disciplines, and identification and abatement methods for existing hazardous materials such as asbestos-containing materials and lead-based paint.Types of projects may include, but are not limited to, new construction and repair/renovation of commercial, institutional, industrial, operational and training, research and development, medical, and quality of life facilities.
