Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Ashburn, Virginia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 14,874-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and water / sewer project.

The Work consists of the construction of a 2-story addition to an existing high school including all site and site utility work. Only those General Contractors who were Prequalified to Bid will be eligible to submit a construction bid for this project. Prequalified General Contractors are: Carlson Brothers, Inc., Dustin Construction, Inc., TMG Construction. Procedures for submitting bids, claiming error, withdrawal of bids, and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids must be submitted on the designated Bid form, completed in ink or typed, signed by an authorized representative, delivered in a sealed envelope bearing the Bidders name, address, registration number, project name(s) and acceptance date. Bids by telephone, telegraph or facsimile shall not be accepted. Request for documents must be received at least 4 days prior to receiving bids. Documents will not be distributed until the above noted Contractor information is received. Addenda, or notification of electronic posting of addenda with instructions for accessing them via the Internet, will be transmitted to all who are known by the Architects office to have received a complete set of Bidding Documents. Furnish an e-mail address authorized to receive notifications from the Architect. The Instructions to Bidders shall be considered a part of the Invitation to Bid as if included herein. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall reach the Architect no later than 5:00 PM prevailing local time on February 1 2022.
