The Mt. Prospect Park District is accepting sealed bids for the Lions Park Water Main Replacement project. Questions regarding this project and call for bids should be directed to the Owner's Representative, Ben Kutscheid, of Studio Park Ave at 8472175076 or Jim Jarog, Executive Director at 8472555380. This work is all related to the replacement of an existing water main, both outside and inside as well as associated required work and restoration. The Park Board of the Mt. Prospect Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids in full or in part, if it is deemed to be in the public's best interest to do so. The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform the work; also the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or perform such work and it shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the specified rates to all laborers, workers and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract or such work.
