Renovation of a municipal facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

This RFP consists of two (2) Lots: Lot 1: Emergency Shelter Renovation. Lot 1 asks Offerors to propose a building or buildings owned by a non-profit or a governmental entity that is in need of repairs/renovation to serve as emergency shelter for San Diegans located in Urban County, which is the unincorporated areas of the County, including the cities of Coronado, Del Mar, Imperial Beach, Lemon Grove, Poway and Solana Beach. The proposed building may be located anywhere within the County. The contract term for Lot 1 Shelter Renovation is anticipated to be from date of award to July 31, 2022. Lot 2: Emergency Shelter Lot 2 asks Offerors to propose emergency shelter operations, including administration of funds for client expenses, hotel/motel placement and other essential services, including case management, and life skills training with the ultimate goal of assisting clients into permanent homes. The contract term for Lot 2 is anticipated to be from date of award to November 30, 2021. The County anticipates the budget for both Lot 1 and Lot 2 to be $4.8 million. Contractor may propose its budget allocation between Lot 1 and Lot 2 based on its expertise and approach to the project described herein.
