Site work and new construction of a detention facility in Roberts, Montana. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 53-bed detention facility.
Plans call for a $19 million bond to build a new detention center in Carbon County. Land has been purchased along highway 212 across from Duffield Road in Joliet for this project. As of September 13, 2021, land for the new facility has been purchased by the county. However, both the Construction and Operating levies were rejected by voters on August 3, 2021.
