**As of February 26, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. It is expected to be awarded on 3/17/2021. The work to be performed under this project generally consists of the construction of a pre-engineered metal building for water treatment systems including cartridge filtration, ion exchange, ultraviolet disinfection, tablet chlorination, high service pumps, and associated piping and instrumentation. The project also includes two 25,000-gallon welded steel tanks, yard piping, sitework, electrical, controls and recoating of an existing 2.5-million-gallon water storage tank. The work shall include all civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and structural work required therein. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified cashier's check or a corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the Stratmoor Hills Water District in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The Successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount not less than 100% of the contract price. The envelope enclosing the bid shall be sealed and addressed to the Stratmoor Hills Water District and delivered or mailed to the Stratmoor Hills Water District (1811 B Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80906). The envelope shall be plainly marked in the upper left-hand corner with the name and address of the bidder and shall bear the words Bid for, followed by the Project title per the Contract Documents and the date and hour of opening of bids. The certified or cashier's check, money order, or bidder's bond shall be enclosed in the same envelope with the bid. Refer to Article 15 in Section 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders" for additional submittal requirements. The attention of Bidders is directed to the applicable federal and state requirements regarding conditions of employment to be observed. All bidders are required to comply with Executive Order No. 11246 regarding equal employment opportunities. The project will be funded through the State Revolving Fund. Special requirements associated with the funding are included in the Bid Documents. All questions relative to this project prior to the submittal of bids shall be directed to the Engineer for the project, and all questions shall be in writing. It shall be understood, however, that no interpretations of the drawings will be made by telephone.
