Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Honomu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of November 30, 2022, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. This project generally consists of Construction of a new comfort station including a new septic system, construction of a new pavilion, construction of a new water pump shed with water tanks including installation of a new water pump system, construction of new accessible walkways, ramps with railings, steps with railings, new picnic tables on new concrete slabs, building repairs to existing pavilions, removal of hazardous materials throughout the existing pavilion buildings and in existing open yard areas adjacent to the pavilions, re-paving of existing A.C. parking lot inclusive of signage, wheel stops, striping and new parking lot lighting, installation of new shallow drywells, removal of existing nonnative trees, and related appurtenances in accordance with the specifications. To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawai'i, General Building Contractor's "B" License. Prospective Bidders must file with the Director of Public Works their "Intent to Bid." The Prospective Bidder's Intent to Bid must be received by the Administration Office, Department of Public Works no later than 4:30 p.m., ten (10) calendar days prior to the bid opening date If the tenth day is on a Saturday, Sunday or State holiday, the Intent to Bid is due on the next working day following the due date.
