Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a 273,000-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of August 4, 2025, this project is completed. 1. The 1601 Congress Building (Package 5 - Tenant Improvement) located just North of the Texas Capitol Building between 16th and 17th Streets. There will be 10 floors of tenant improvements totaling approximately 273,000 GSF. Construction to start July of this year. The following scopes of work will be solicited for Package 5: Millwork, Doors, Frame & Hardware, Interior Glazing, Drywall, Flooring, Painting, Specialties, Fire Protection, HVAC, Electrical and Security 2. The Texas Mall Project/Underground Parking Garage (Package 6). Demolition to start March of this year.
