Renovation of a data center facility in Gatineau, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a data center facility.
Decommissioning includes primarily the following: FM200 / Pre-action, independent fire panel, condenser roof unit, raised floor system, emptied A/C units, racking for IT equipment, fire walls, riser glycol. Although the project is mainly electrical demolition, since the space is equipped with a "FM 200" pre-action and inert gas system, it is necessary to remove these elements and install a sprinkler system in order to comply with the code. Emergency exit lighting: If the walls are removed for this project, it will be necessary to revise the emergency exit signs. Fire alarm system: the premises included in this project have their own management system with respect to fire alarms. It is possible that modifications to the low base building system will be required and installation of fire alarm speakers. Currently the room is equipped with strobe light.
