Site work and paving for a road / highway in Medina, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of February 25, 2021, this project has been awarded to Karvo Construction, Inc in the amount of $488,348.95. Bids are requested for the 2021 Multi-Road Improvement Project which includes the resurfacing of C.H.70 Fenn Road (.26 mile), C.H.47 Abbeyville Road (1.04 mile), & C.H.22 Marks Road (1.68 mile) in York and Medina Townships, Medina County, Ohio as detailed in the Bid Documents. The Engineer's Estimate is $ 588,501.00. No contract shall be awarded at a price more than ten percent in excess of the Engineer's estimate. The improvement project shall have final completion date of July 2nd, 2021. Each bidder shall be required to file a bid guaranty with the bid in the form of either: (1) a Bid/ Performance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid; or (2) a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit shall equal to 10% of the amount bid, conditioned that the bidder shall, if his bid is accepted, execute a contract in conformity with the bid, plans, details, specifications and bills of material. A Letter of Credit shall be revocable only at the option of the County. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The Medina County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
