The New Edmonton Hospital Project (NEHP) will be constructed on the 320- acre site indicated on Request for Qualification (RFQ) Appendix 1 - Site Plan drawing, bounded by existing roads Ellerslie Road to the north and 127 Street to the east. A portion of this site will be subdivided and used for the health campus with residual lands used by others for other purposes. This Campus Site Works Preparation package will include the civil, transportation and utility scopes listed below to prepare the site for the later development of the NEHP. Heritage Valley Trail (arterial), Graydon Hill Link and 129 Street (collectors), and the Storm Water Management Facility will become City/EPCOR public infrastructure. This construction project will preceed the NEHP construction. The City of Edmonton, EPCOR and pipelines listed in RFQ Appendix 3 are engaged to obtain development and/or crossing agreements. Information on the agreements will be included in the Invitation to Bid. The purpose of this scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Prepare for Site Work Construction Fencing Clearing/Stripping Topsoil Stockpile Construction access road(s) and parking. Maintaining the complete site (two quarter sections) until the construction is complete. Complete Site Civil Works and Utilities Main underground utilites from off-site to central locations on-site including domestic water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, natural gas, power and data. Main feed for construction power. Stormwater pond. Roads including curb and gutter, stormwater lines, lighting, and first lift of asphalt for a portion of Heritage Valley Trail and main internal collector roads.
