Site work for a water / sewer project in Bradenton, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Q & A deadline: August 17, 2021 The work included in this contract consists of: 46 Gravity sewer point repairs which include removing and replacing approximately 600 LF of 8- to 12-inch gravity sewer, and pipe bursting of 296 LF of 8-inch HDPE gravity sewer in the Basin 16 service area located in Bradenton, Florida. Work also consist of removing and replacing 38 service laterals, reconnecting 12 service laterals, reconnecting 15 gravity sewer mains to existing manholes, and rehabilitation of 4 manholes. Additionally, the project includes restoration of sidewalks, driveways, and pavement that will be disturbed by the construction of the proposed improvements. The Work will be completed and ready for final inspection within the specified calendar days from the date the Contract Time commences to run. Completion time shall be based on Bid 'A' for 365 calendar days or Bid 'B' based on 440 calendar days time at the County's sole discretion. Inspection of the Project Site(s) is a requirement to be considered for award of this bid.
