To be valid, each quote must be accompanied by a certified check drawn from a chartered bank or by a bid bond issued by an insurance company for an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the bid, payable to the order of the City of Rosemère. This bond must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of opening of tenders. In addition, the submission must be accompanied by a letter of consent issued by an insurance company appearing on the list of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), guaranteeing the issuance, in favor of the City of Rosemère, of '' a performance bond and a surety bond for the contractor's obligations for wages, materials and services if the tenderer becomes the successful tenderer.
