Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for general landscape maintenance including, but not limited to mowing, trimming, mulching, edging, weed and brush removal, soil amendments (pH) and fertilization at Dudley Town Common, Horatio Harris Park, Highland Park and Malcolm X Park beginning April 2021 and ending December 2021. One year contract with two one-year options to renew at the sole discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department. If exercised, the option for year two and for year three shall be at the same price and subject to the same contract provisions as year one. All Bids for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: Landscape Maintenance Services for Roxbury Parks (Malcolm X, Horatio Harris, Highland, Dudley Town Common) The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any and all bids, if it be in the Public Interest to do so. The successful bidder will be required to provide by insurance for the payment of compensation and the furnishing of other benefits under the Workmens Compensation Law, General Laws (Ter.Ed.), chapter 152, to all persons to be employed under the contract, and sufficient proof of compliance with the foregoing stipulation will be required before commencing performance of this contract. A performance bond of a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth and satisfactory to the Commissioner and in the sum of 100 percent of the contract price, as well as certain public liability and property damage insurance, will be required of the successful general contractor.
