Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for general landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, mulch, edging, weed removal, IPM treatments, aerating, over seeding, irrigation monitoring and repair at Christopher Columbus Park (110 Atlantic Avenue, Boston 02110) and Doherty Park (439 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown 02129) Estimated cost of contract is $45,000.00/year (optional 2nd & 3rd year renewal). All Bids for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide by insurance for the payment of compensation and the furnishing of other benefits under the Workmen's Compensation Law, General Laws (Ter.Ed.), chapter 152, to all persons to be employed under the contract, and sufficient proof of compliance with the foregoing stipulation will be required before commencing performance of this contract. A performance bond of a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth and satisfactory to the Commissioner and in the sum of 100 percent of the contract price, as well as certain public liability and property damage insurance, will be required of the successful general contractor. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any and all bids, if it be in the Public Interest to do so. The Official reserves the right to waive any minor informality and to accept or reject any or all bids. In the event the Purchase Description and Specifications require bids for goods and multiple items each of which has separate price components, the Official reserves the right to accept or reject any item(s) therein and award contracts therefore. The Official shall award the contract to the bidder the Official determines to be the lowest responsible and responsive bidder
