West Street Improvements, Phase 1 - work consists of water, sewer and drainage improvements and associated work to include by-pass pumping, trench, berm and driveway repair, and milling and paving of the roadway. Work consists of water, sewer and drainage improvements on West Street from Elm Street to Western Avenue. Specifically, work consists of the construction and testing of approximately 855 feet of new 8-inch DICL water main and new water service and fire hydrant connections; abandonment of the existing aging and undersized 6-inch CI water main; construction and testing of approximately 787 feet of new 8-inch PVC gravity sanitary sewer main, new sewer service connections, and replacement of existing sewer manholes with precast concrete manholes; replacement of approximately 1,061 feet of deteriorated, cracked or broken drain pipes ranging in size from 12 to 24-inch, replacement of existing drain manholes and catch basins with new precast concrete structures, and repair of existing catch basins; trench, berm and driveway repair; milling and paving of the roadway; by-pass pumping; and related work
