Project was awraded to C. Green Scaping, LP in the amount of $7,167,807.86 The project includes furnishing and installing site and landscape improvements to Colleyville Gateways as described above; generally consisting of, but not limited to, the following: Hardscape improvements including tower structures, wall fountain, appurtenances (benches, drinking fountains, bollards, and bike racks) stone block freestanding and retaining walls, stone paving, gravel paving, stone slabs, metal signage, concrete paving, and edging Landscape improvements, including earthwork and grading, bulk fill, structural fill, soil preparation and amendments, ground covers, seasonal color, perennials, shrubs and trees Site electrical and plumbing including site lighting (trees, towers, signs, walls, fountain, lanterns, bridge), site electrical (utility relocates, electrical convenience outlets, power connections) and site plumbing (water lines, utility relocates, fountain) as indicated and detailed Irrigation system as indicated and detailed Bidders must submit, with their bids, a cashier's or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount bid, payable without recourse to CITY OF COLLEYVILLE, TEXAS, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a City approved Surety Company (according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of approval by the State Board of Insurance under 7.19-1 of the Texas Insurance Code) as guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within (10) days after award of contract to their company. Bids without the required check or bid bond will be considered non-responsive. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from an approved Surety Company. (An approved Surety Company being a company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety, and being acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of approval from the State Board of Insurance under 7.19-1 of the Texas Insurance Code.) The successful Bidder must also be able to show evidence that it is authorized to do business in the State of Texas prior to executing the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received, and/or to accept any portion of the offer if deemed in the best interest of the City. Failure of the bidder/proposer to provide in its offer any information requested in the bid may result in rejection for non-responsiveness.
