Site work, paving and renovation of a civil project in Lake Park, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project is located east of the intersection of Market Street and Maple Avenue in Lake Park, Iowa. The Work will include but is not limited to the following improvements: 1. Renovation of the existing main sanitary sewer lift station, including bypassing of the station, removal of the existing duplex pumps and control system and installing 3 new pumps, triplex control system, associated valves and piping, new automatic screen, and precast lift station building. 2. Wastewater Treatment Plant site earthwork, approximately 10,000 CY, including site surcharging, settlement monitoring, and excavation for structure foundations. 3. Construction of a new Aero-Mod activated sludge wastewater treatment plant. 4. Construction of new Wastewater Plant Building housing plant power distribution, controls, laboratory, blowers, and UV disinfection equipment. 5. Construction of new flow control structure and treatment plant return lift station. 6. Site work, site restoration, crushed stone paving, miscellaneous piping, and other miscellaneous work. 7. Standby power systems at Main Lift Station and Wastewater Treatment Plant. 8. Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls. 9. All other work required by the Contract Documents MBE : 1.7% WBE : 2.2% MBE : 0.4% WBE : 6.9%
