Site work for a civil project in Lake Park, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.
As of September 26, 2024 project was awarded to Marlin Concrete, awarded amount is $330,242.80. Construction of three stormwater management practices in the City of Lake Park in Dickinson County, Iowa. The practices consist of two stormwater wetlands at the Silver Lake Country Club and one bioretention cell at Harris-Lake Park Elementary School. Construction will include excavation, grading, tree clearing, storm sewer installation, seeding, planting and mulching, and other incidental items. Site Directions: There are three project sites. The two proposed stormwater wetlands are located at the Silver Lake Country Club golf course, and the proposed bioretention cell is located at the park of the Harris-Lake Park Elementary School. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 28.6 of the Iowa Code in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. All work under the Contract must be substantially complete on or before March 28, 2025. Final completion (establishment of permanent seeding) shall be May 30, 2025, with a three-year warranty period beginning at substantial completion. Damages in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500) per day will be assessed for each consecutive calendar day the work remains incomplete after the specified completion dates. The City of Lake Park reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
