Renovation of a civil project in Dayton, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The project consists of the replacement of two existing 1,100 kW Detroit Diesel two-stroke engine/Delco generator sets and associated appurtenances, generator neutral grounding resistors, generator master control panel, in addition to various electrical improvements at the Montgomery County Environmental Services (MCES) Eastern Regional Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). Bidder shall furnish a Bid Guaranty, in the form prescribed in Sections 153.54, 153.57, and 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the form of either: (1) a bond for the full amount of the Bid in the form of the Bid and Performance/Payment Bond included in the Contract Documents in Specification Section 00410; or (2) a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in a form satisfactory to the Owner in an amount equal to 10% of the Bid. Bid amount shall be the total of all sums bid, including all add alternates, but excluding all deduct alternates. NOTE: AIA Bid Bond forms are not acceptable. The Successful Bidder, who, as a Bid Guaranty, submits a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the Bid, shall furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in the form of the Performance/Payment Bond included in Specification Section 00512 in the Contract Documents in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. NOTE: AIA Bond forms are not acceptable. The County Commissioners reserve the rights defined in the Instructions to Bidders, including, but not limited to the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities of Bids, should same be to the advantage of the County.
