Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Racine, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Project involves approximately 7,400 L.F. of 42-inch diameter water main, including 320 L.F. pipe jacking/boring of 42-inch diameter water main, 8 each 42-inch diameter butterfly valves, 1,915 L.F. of 8-inch water main, hydrants and leads, water service replacements, erosion control, concrete curb and gutter, asphalt and concrete pavement replacement, pavement marking, traffic control, tree removal, and restoration. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Racine Water Utility reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bidders are responsible for delivery of the Bidders Qualification statement to the office of the Racine Water Utility at least 5 business days before the Bid opening date. Bids must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Racine Water Utility in an amount of 5% of BIDDER's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, Surety2000 Bid Bond (OWNER must be registered with Surety2000 in order to accept) or an electronic Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions.
