Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project includes pavement reconstruction, pavement width changes, realignment of intersecting streets, new curb and bump-outs at Northland Avenue and Culver Road, curb ramps, sidewalks, driveway aprons, new water main, water services, hydrants, catch basins, manhole adjustments/replacements, stormwater bioretention features, traffic signal upgrades, telecommunication conduit, pavement markings, designated bicycle lanes, signage and tree plantings. Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% The term of the agreement shall extend until six (6) months after final acceptance of the project. Street Reconstruction Waring Road - Norton Street to Culver Road/Woodman Park This Project consists of the improvements to Waring Road, between Norton Street and Culver Road/Woodman Park. The scope of the work consists of full depth pavement reconstruction including curb and driveway apron replacement along Waring Road from Norton Street to just north of the Culver Road/Woodman Park Intersection. The project also includes replacement of the existing concrete sidewalks and curb ramps to meet current ADA Design Criteria. A ten-foot travel lane along with a six-foot bike lane will be provided in each direction along with designated parking locations along the west side of the road. The roadway section in front of the Waring Plaza will include a two way left turn lane for access to the plaza and side streets. All side street intersections within the corridor will be re-aligned to provide better sight distances. The existing water main will be replaced along with new services and hydrants within the project corridor. New catch basins will be installed and existing sanitary manholes adjusted as needed. Bio-retention features will be installed to provided water quality per the NYS SPDES General Permit. Telecommunications conduit will be installed along the east side of the roadway within the project corridor. All new signing and striping will be included throughout the project corridor. The signal at the intersection of Waring Road/Culver Road/Woodman Park will be replaced with Mast Arms while the signal at the intersection of Waring Road/Northland Avenue will be removed. Bump outs will be provided along Waring Road from Northland Avenue to Culver Road/Woodman Park. The intersection of Waring Road/Culver Road/Woodman Park will be milled and resurfaced as will a short section along Northland Avenue.
