Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Tampa, Florida. Working plans call for the construction of a 77,000-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The owner has determined a prequalified list of design buildders. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. Port Tampa Bay (PTB) is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified firms or individuals interested in providing Design-Build services to construct an approximately 77,000 square foot (SF) Transload Warehouse Facility with an Option No. 1 for a 19,000 (SF) Container Examination Station (CES) Facility at Port Tampa Bay. The project includes performing all design, permitting, threshold inspections, Construction Engineering Inspections (CEI) services and construction necessary to complete the project in accordance with Port Tampa Bay's Design-Build Performance Specifications. All responses to the RFQ shall include a letter indicating the Firm's interest and completion of the RFQ Documents. Firms failing to submit the required RFQ Documents may be deemed non-responsive to the RFQ. PTB encourages the use of registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to the greatest extent possible on projects and has a goal of nine percent (9%) SBE participation. PTB will consider SBE participation when evaluating the responses.
