Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to extend the fiber optic run from South Carson Street at Snyder to the Dispatch Center. The project includes connecting into the existing fiber optic, running conduits and fiber optic, splicing, concrete work, pavement patching, and connecting into the dispatch facility. If contractors bid exceed $91,000, state prevailing wages are to be included their bid price. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications and special conditions related hereto. All contractors must comply with NRS 338.01165 for this project, unless a modification, waiver, or exemption applies. Carson City has determined that the responsive bidder must possess a minimum of a Class A or C-2 with appropriate sub-classifications or subcontractors. All Contractors license shall be in good standing and issued by the Nevada State Contractors Board at the time of the bid.
