Carson City published an Invitation to Bid soliciting sealed bids to provide the following equipment: a 2-inch air release valve, four 4-inch sewage combination air/vacuum valves, one 8-inch sewage combination air/vacuum valve, four 4-inch butterfly valves, two 8-inch butterfly valves, and two 20-inch butterfly valves. As set forth in the Invitation for Bid, sealed bids were required to be submitted on or before May 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., and those bids needed to be submitted in accordance with the bid documents set forth in the formal Invitation for Bid. No bids were received by that date and time; therefore, Carson City intends to proceed under NRS 332.148, which permits Carson City to enter into a contract for the equipment sought through Bid No. 20300338 without a competitive solicitation, provided it publishes this notice and entertains any bids received within 7 days of this notice's publication.
