In order to determine the scope and budget based on future needs estimates to design a new corporation yard, a "Needs Assessment Study" is needed. This study is intended to assess the current needs of the corporation yard, both in function and size and to determine an approximate budget needed to be secured to proceed with the development of a new corporation yard. The City of Mill Valley provides comprehensive public works services to residents and visitors in the City, including maintenance services for roadways, sanitary sewer distribution systems as well as storage and repair services for vehicles that service the community. Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required The City of Mill Valley is a city with a population of approximately 14,000 people, located 14 miles north of San Francisco in Marin County. The corporation yard in Mill Valley is significantly old and is in need of significant improvement in order to provide the same services. A new public work yard will be needed in the near future which can incorporate vehicle maintenance services, compliant locker rooms, space for equipment and materials storage, office management space and emergency equipment to allow the combined corporation yard to function during an emergency.
