The Work consists of the supply of all labour, material, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the Work shown, or described by, or reasonably inferred from these contract documents. Without limiting the qualifications of the foregoing, the Work consists of the following: Removal and Replacement of the Moose Creek Culvert Crossing Frederick House Lake Road. Under this item, the Contractor shall be responsible for the supply, installation, layout, maintenance, relocation and removal of all signs, barriers, barricades, traffic control devices, temporary illumination, traffic control person(s) and traffic control markers. All traffic control measures are to conform with the Ontario Traffic Manual (OTM) Book 7, Temporary Conditions, as detailed on the Contract drawings and as described herein This specification covers the requirements for the design, construction, operation, maintenance, and removal of the dewatering operation required to isolate water flow from the work area in accordance with OPSS 517 except as otherwise noted in this special provision. The Contractor shall construct a dewatering cofferdam, parallel to the roadway at the inlet and outlet of the existing CSP culvert for flow by-pass. The contractor shall create a dry excavation for placement of new culvert. The cofferdam shall be an impermeable and watertight barrier and shall be designed for minimum 2-year water level as shown in the Hydrology Technical Memorandum.
