Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Camp Springs, Maryland. Completed plans call for the construction of a 36,218-square-foot military facility; for site work for a military facility; and for the demolition of a 19,106-square-foot military facility.

The purpose of this project is for the design and construction of a new 36,218 sq. ft. Crash Rescue Station at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The new facility will provide a Large Headquarters Station that is sited to serve both fight lines and the Installations structures, and support current and future flying missions at the base. The new Crash Rescue Station Facility scope includes combined emergency communication center, fourteen aircraft rescue firefighting apparatus equipment/maintenance bays, residential, training areas, gym, conference rooms, administration and management offices, an alternate emergency operations center, clean/dirty rooms for special equipment, logistics warehouse, response trailer storage and necessary recreation (television room/lounge/dining/kitchen) space, heating ventilation and air conditioning, electrical, communication, fire detection/suppression and mass notification/intercom systems, site preparations, parking lot, landscaping, storm water management, utilities and utilities connection, emergency generator with fuel tank and automatic transfer switch, and all other necessary work associated with this project. The project also includes the demolition of the existing buildings, one building totaling 18,008 sq. ft. and the other totaling 1,098 sq. ft.
