Invitation for Bid No. RFQ 640813 was issued on January 30, 2024, to solicit
bids from prequalified general contractors for the Construction of the Fire and
Rescue Station #04 Round Hill Station Replacement. Six bids were received
on March 19, 2024, with San Jose Construction Group, Inc. being the lowest
responsive and responsible bidder in the amount of $17,789,842.73.
________________________________________________________________ This project shall include construction of a new one (1)-story 21,584 square-foot facility with a 1,570 square foot mezzanine and associated site improvements. The project is located at 41 West Loudoun Street, Round Hill, Virginia 20141 (Parcel Identification Numbers 584-18- 5769-000, 584-18-2378-000). The facility will include administrative offices, a community room/training room, exercise room, bunk rooms, restrooms, showers, kitchen and dining areas, decontamination areas, supply storage, and mechanical areas, plus four (4) drive thru apparatus bays. The bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the price specified in the Contract.
