Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Kananaskis, Alberta. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The project will demolish the main building, shed, generator building, small water treatment building, and root cellar. All man-made elements such as fences, pathways, radio tower, propane tanks, signage, flagpole, fire pit, garbage bins, and general site debris will be included demolition. Contractor is responsible to complete a Bird and Wildlife Sweep prior to demolition by a Wildlife Specialist or Environment Consultant who is qualified to complete this type of survey. Demolition of all foundations, underground services, and any other component which extends below grade, is to be demolished, capped/terminated, and abandoned at a depth of 300mm below grade. Hazardous materials abatement of the existing building. Prepare and clean-up the site. Regrade and seed all disturbed areas. The Garage building, road access and FOA wood lot will remain as is. Demolition to start in spring 2021.
