The Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking services for the construction of a fire station, in Soquel, CA, located in Santa Cruz County. The awarded Contractor shall be responsible for the construction of a CAL FIRE prototypical, single-building, one-engine/six-bed fire station. Services to also include construction of a generator/pump/storage building (with generator), and construction of a Soquel Demonstration State Forest Education Center building. Site improvements to include demolition of the existing facility, grading, paving, new utilities, septic system and leach field, hose wash rack, wharf hydrant, above ground fuel vaults, site fencing, retaining walls, flagpoles, trash enclosure, site/curb/gutter/sidewalks, site lighting, new pole/tower for radio communications, landscaping, irrigation, storm drainage, deceleration lane and all appurtenances. Fire station Occupancy Type B/R2, Construction Type V-B, and generator/storage building Occupancy Type S2.
