The City of Bowie, Maryland requests proposals for the construction of the Northview Drive Mid-block Crossing. The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject all proposals. All questions or requests for clarification regarding this Request for Proposal shall be submitted by email to Jackie Tayman at jtayman@cityofbowie.org. Deadline for inquiries is 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarification will be issued no later than Monday, February 22, 2021 to all those who request the RFP. The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a proposal. The Work consists of the following, but is not limited to changing the four lane system of the Road to a two-lane road system and installing mid-block crossing for pedestrians' safety and trail commuters' access. It also includes installing traffic signage as a part of road safety improvements and new lighting system for improved visibility to the traffic and commuters during the night.
