The purpose of this Solicitation is to establish a Contract to provide staffing and equipment to perform Routine Maintenance Services on Interstate and Non-Interstate Roadways for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) District 1. A minimum of two (2) crews will be required. One crew will be located at Area 1 Gainesville. This crew will work out of the Gwinnett County Routine Maintenance Facility at 147 Hurricane Shoals Rd., Lawrenceville, GA 30046. The other crew will be located at Area 2-Athens. This crew will work out of the Walton County Routine Maintenance Facility at 830 Adamson Dr., Monroe, GA 30655. The Scope of Work will include furnishing all labor, material, tools, equipment, and other incidentals necessary to perform Work. The Department intends to make one (1) Award to the single lowest responsive and responsible Contractor receiving the highest Total Combined Score and with whom the Department is able to reach an agreement as to contract terms will be selected for Award. However, the Department shall consider multiple Awards if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the State. The Department reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. The awarded Contractor will be tasked with employing qualified, skilled personnel that will provide services described within the Scope of Work. Routine Maintenance Services may include, but are not limited to, maintenance and repair activities associated with roadways, bridges, traffic control devices, drainage, structures, roadside vegetation and aesthetics, traffic services, and emergency response.
