As of March 3 2021, project was awarded to Bligh Pacific amount of $188,780.00. The start date will be 5/26/2021 and will be completed on 7/12 /2021. Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) the mandatory job walk will be scheduled by appointment only. All vendors must notify Maintenance & Operations by email Rosie_castro@etiwanda.org no later than Wednesday, February 3, 2021, by 10:00 a.m. of their intent to attend the job walk so we may schedule the appointment. Failure to notify Etiwanda shall be deemed non-responsive and shall not be considered. Each Bid shall be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or bid bond executed by an admitted surety insurer, as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, payable to DISTRICT as a guarantee that Bidder, if its proposal is accepted, shall promptly execute the Agreement, furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, furnish a Payment Bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, and furnish certificates evidencing that the required insurance is in effect in the amounts set forth in the General Conditions. All work must start on May 26, 2021 and be completed within July 11, 2021 (46) consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Said Notice shall not be issued prior to five (5) Days after award of the Contract, and shall not require that Work be commenced less than forty-eight (48) hours from the date of said Notice. Time is of the essence. Failure to complete the Work within the time set forth herein will result in the imposition of liquidated damages for each Day of delay, in the amount set forth in the Information for Bidders.
