Pre-Bid Meeting No The City of Rancho Cucamonga (hereinafter "City") is seeking Statement of Qualifications from experienced environmental consulting firms to enter into an agreement for On-Call Contract Planning Services on an as Needed Basis. The City is inviting qualified Consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications (hereinafter "SOQ") in accordance with the minimum Scope of Services indicated herein. The City is interested in establishing a list of qualified firms to assist them in the following tasks: o At the City's request, maintain and have available temporary contract staff that can assist with Planning Services, either for a specific project, or on-going for a defined period. Staffing services shall be at the level of Assistant Planner, Associate Planner, and/or Senior Planner, depending on the City's need and the type of project(s) involved. o Senior Planner services are distinguished from Assistant and Associate Planner services in that they have increased responsibility for providing quality control and technical expertise, supervising, and monitoring the work of others, managing complex projects, and performing difficult planning responsibilities. BUSINESS LICENSE The successful Vendor may be required to obtain a Rancho Cucamonga Business License prior to any services or work being rendered. Vendor must also possess and maintain all appropriate licenses/certifications Only those responses received from registered Vendors will be accepted. Responses must be submitted by the named Vendor that has downloaded the solicitation; this information is indicated in the bid system and provides the ability to tabulate the responses in accordance to the named From the issuance date of this Solicitation until an award is issued, Vendors are not permitted to communicate with any City Staff or Officials regarding this solicitation, other than under the direction of the designated representatives of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as indicated in the solicitation. The City reserves the right to conduct pre-award discussions and/or pre-Contract negotiations with any or all responsive Vendors who submit solicitation responses. The right is reserved, unless otherwise stated, to accept or reject all or any solicitation responses, or any part thereof, either separately or as a whole, or to waive any informality and to split or make the award in any manner determined by the City to be in the best interest of the City. The Vendor is solely responsible for ensuring that the complete solicitation response is received by the City in accordance with the solicitation requirements, prior to the date and time specified in the solicitation, and at the place specified. The City shall not be responsible for any delays in mail or by common carriers or by transmission error or delays or missed delivery. The City reserves the right to withdraw this Solicitation at any time without prior notice and makes no representations that an award will be issued to any Vendor responding to this Solicitation. The City expressly reserves the right to reject any and all Solicitation Responses without indicating any reasons for such rejections. Solicitation Responses become the property of the City. The City intends to select qualified firms who will be placed on an official list of qualified consultants on an as needed basis, either on a project-by-project basis, or for a predefined period of time. The latter may be needed when the City is working on recruitment to fill a Planning related vacancy. Planning services may be remote, in person, or hybrid, depending on the need. The selected firms will be maintained on the City's official list for a three-year period but could be extended up to 5 years at the City's discretion.
