Meyer Najem, the Construction Manager, is requesting proposals for the 2021 WMS Renovation - MEP Equipment Installation for the Brownsburg Community School Corporation. Project includes rework of the interior "Central Plant" and exterior "Facilities Maintenance Area", at the South end of the school. Work shall include removal of existing mechanical / electrical equipment and complete installation, as required per the documents, of the Pre-Purchased Equipment as previously Bid in the 2021 WMS Renovation - 1A Equipment Pre-Purchase Packages: BP #01 - Condensing Boilers, BP #02 - Centrifugal Water Chillers, BP #03 - Cooling Towers and BP #04 - Engine Generator System / Automatic Transfer Switch. Further description of work can be found within the bid packages and project drawings/specifications. This Project is broken out into two (2) Bid Packages. Bid Package #05 - Mechanical - Equipment Install Bid Package #06 - Electrical - Equipment Install Each Bid Package includes all labor, materials, equipment, coordination, submittals. etc. associated with said scope of work. This is a Public Bid and will require a Bid Bond and Performance / Payment Bond. All Contractors and Sub-contractors for IDOA Public Works projects valued at over $300,000 MUST be pre-qualified through the Public Works Certification Board, prior to BCSC Board Approval of Contract or will be grounds for bid to be rejected as non-responsive. Pre-qualification requires submission of an application for review by the Public Works Certification Board members. *PLEASE NOTE: The Architect/Engineer has issued Addendum #01, dated 2/11/2021 for the project, that includes the Pre-Bid Meeting Agenda and Sign-In Sheet, Revised Bid Package Scopes, Addendum Narrative and Revised & New Drawings and Specifications.
