Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cadillac, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work includes the following approximate quantities of major items: 6,300 Syd Aggregate Base 2,000 Lft Storm Sewer 960 Ton HMA, 4EL 600 Lft Water Main 3,000 Lft Curb and Gutter 1,300 Lft Sanitary Sewer Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, money order, or bid bond, payable to the owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal, as a proposal guarantee. Proposal guarantee of the bidders under consideration will be returned after approval of the contract by the owner. All others will be returned within 72 hours after the proposal opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and labor and material bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract. The owner reserves the right to accept any proposal, to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any irregularities in any proposal in the interest of the owner.
