Scope of Work. The Work consists of: ORG 226 - Martin Weiss Elementary School - Project consists of the following overall scope: Administration Suite Addition at the school's existing main entry, including site improvements along the front of the school. Interior Renovations focusing on corridors, window replacement (refer to Base Bid and Alternate), updated LED lighting, and Gymnasium flooring replacement. Infrastructure scope includes mechanical system replacement (refer to 5. items listed below); lighting controls, exterior lighting to LED lighting; replacement of secondary switchgear. Sanitary waste and grease waste piping replacement (within crawlspace and site). Additional security/safety items in scope, such as access control upgrades, additional cameras, PA system replacement, and fire alarm system replacement. A detailed list of items included in the scope are (Reference numbers relate to DISD's original Scope to Budget items.): 1.1 Provide secure front vestibule. Renovate and expand administration area per DISTRICT STANDARDS (include vestibule, reception, admin offices, conference room, teacher workroom/breakroom, clinic suite, restrooms). Roofing scope included. 1.2 Provide new/additional cameras (Infrastructure Only). 1.3 Provide access control system upgrade. Adding additional card readers/door contacts. Video Intercom at 2 entrances (Infrastructure Only) 1.5 Replace fire alarm system, includes Schoolwide and (7) Portables. 1.6 Replace exterior lights with LED lighting. 1.7 Provide exterior lighting controls. 1.9 Replace outdated exterior windows with new energy efficient window assemblies per District Standards. 2.5 Remove and replace ceiling with new acoustical lay-in ceiling tile and grid within corridors (partial). 2.8 Renovate corridor to provide new durable surfaces throughout (remove existing lockers, flooring, ceilings, and include ACM Abatement where applicable). 2.9 Gymnasium flooring replacement. 3.5 Replace grease waste piping at kitchen area. 3.6 Replace Sanitary waste piping schoolwide, includes all SS piping including site. 4.1 Replace secondary switchgear. 4.2 Provide interior lighting controls. 4.3 Replace interior lights with LED lighting (partial). 4.4 Replace PA system schoolwide. 5.1 Replace fan coil units; Install Variable Air Volume reheat boxes. 5.2 Provide VFD's on (2) heating, (2) chiller, (2) condenser water pumps. 5.3 Replace (2) heating, (2) chiller and (2) condenser water pumps. 5.4 Replace grills and diffusers (partial). 5.7 Replace Steam Boiler, includes new hydronic system/heating water piping. 5.8 Provide DDC Controls. 5.10 Replace lined ductwork and roof mounted ductwork.
