Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project generally consists of construction of new accessible walkways, ramps with railings, steps with railings, removal of hazardous materials throughout both facility buildings, modification to existing doors/frames and hardware, new doors/frames and hardware, modification to existing bath rooms, drinking fountains, room signage, modification to existing bleachers, repair existing gym flooring including floor framing, repair termite and dry rot damaged walls and roof framing, change existing roof including gutters, repair damaged windows and screen openings, repaint interior & exterior of gym & annex; re-paving of existing A.C. parking inclusive of signage, wheel stops and striping; shallow drywells and improvements to the existing tennis courts and related appurtenances in accordance with the specifications. To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawai'i, General Building Contractor's "B" License. See Special Notice to Bidders for additional licensing requirements. The original executed and notarized Standard Qualification Questionnaire for Offerors form "SQQO" must be received by the Administration Office, Department of Public Works, no less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the 2:00 p.m. bid opening so it may be evaluated and approved by the County of Hawai'i, Department of Public Works prior to bid opening. The Director of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids to waive informalities. No Bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before the award of the contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding ninety (90) consecutive calendar days.
